The NCLA archive contains a wealth of past video and sound recordings, and photographs of many of the writers who have visited and read at the centre, including Seamus Heaney’s reading at NCLA’s launch in 2009, Grace Nichols, Paul Muldoon and Marilynne Robinson. The digital archive features short video extracts from most events, however if you require access to the full event please email ncenla@ncl.ac.uk to arrange a viewing appointment. Information on all future and past events can be located on the NCLA events website.

The NCLA archive also features a physical library of poetry books, many published by Bloodaxe Books, and many poetry journals, including back issues of Poetry Review, The Rialto and Stand, as well as novels, plays, photographs and posters.
